Coming Soon!
An evening of short, one act
Spoofs! Melodramas! and Farce!
To begin with:
Streuth, by Michael Green A dreadfully miscast group of actors and an under-rehearsed technical crew, show us in a 20 minute whodunit, the worst that am-dram has to offer. Followed by: Il Fornicazione (the adulterer), by Michael Green The orchestra due to play for an opera has had an accident. Assisted by the conductor and a triangle player, the cast decide that the show must go on. And after the interval and a drink at the bar: Lady Cordelia’s Tribulations, by Graham Bushnell An all-suffering widow and her angelic child, a femme fatale, a nursemaid, a husband back from the dead and of course, a black-hearted villain - all of whom meet, and (most of them) die on stage tears guaranteed. And to end with: Gosforth’s Fête, by Alan Ayckbourn A summer, fund-raising fête in England it rains of course. But the weather is not the only thing to blame, as technical problems provoke mayhem and scandal and hats, livers and reputations are ruined. The IP November play will be: Absent Friends by Alan Ayckbourn,
Auditions will take place on Monday May 12th, from 8pm (Espace Wilson, le Pecq),
